35 year old Ciera Sharde’ Cohen is an award winning actress and published author born in Laurens, South Carolina. Raised in small town Clinton, South Carolina, Ciera has always had dreams of being in the spotlight. She spent her time drawing, singing and dancing and writing poetry.  Participated in her first ever stage performance at the age of 9 with her church drama ministry. Since then, she went on to study graphic design at the University of South Carolina Upstate and quickly changed her major to theatrical studies. In 2010 she moved to Greenville, South Carolina where she gave birth to her first daughter Symphani. As a young single mother she struggled with finding her purpose in life.Soon after in 2014 she met her husband Travis and birthed her second daughter Trinity. She soon found her passion again in acting and has grown to perform many stage productions including, Desperate Measures”, written, produced and directed by Patrick Styles and “A Daughter Scorned” written, produced and directed by Rona Neely, and starred in the 2023 feature film “Heel’d” by Tonya Love, IGNITE ENT and Flaming Elephant Films. and a host of other stage productions. She published her first book "Love Letters to the Soul-Broken Beauty " in December of 2022 and has continued writing and telling her story of triumph and resilience through acting, poetry and storytelling. Her mission is to teach others to overcome their struggles by expressing themselves through writing and the arts and bring back the love and passion for the arts into her community.
